Essential Duties

Lead the recruiting admissions team to ensure that UW meets its strategic mission related enrollment goals. Provide direction and input on establishing new recruiting territories while maintaining established recruiting territories.  

Provide leadership and relationship-building to enhance relations with community colleges, high schools, communities and interested stakeholders.

With the AVP for Enrollment Management and Director of Admissions identify trends in undergraduate recruiting.

Working with the admissions leadership team, identify and enhance new recruiting opportunities for UW.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent related experience)

Five or more years of significant related experience in recruiting and progressive leadership responsibilities in an admissions office, or related field.

Significant experience supervising a staff of at least five or more.

Strong public speaking skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships with multiple constituencies.     

Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time representing UW in the region, working with community colleges and high school partners. 

Desired Qualifications

5-8 years in higher education and enrollment management experience

Professional speaking to include delivering recruitment presentations

7 or more years of progressive recruiting and supervisory experience
